Jasper Jupiter

 

 

Jasper Jupiter is a freelance photographer, filmmaker, and audio engineer currently residing in Seattle, WA. They graduated from The Evergreen State College in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Media Studies. During Jasper’s years at Evergreen, they produced several experimental audio soundscapes, short films, and was the Sound Engineer for a 30 minute, live-to-tape television show called, “Un-Presidented.”

Jasper started interning for Seattle’s local non-profit radio station, KEXP, shortly after graduating. Since the end of the internship, they have been doing freelance photography and videography. Currently, they are enrolled in Blanket Fort Film’s Motion Picture Program of 2019 and in the pre-production phase of an upcoming documentary.

Jasper is passionate about the power of voice and is dedicated to using media as a platform to help marginalized folks share their experiences and perspectives.
